What do I need to bring to Enrolment?
We would like you to
bring:
Your most recent school report.
The 2008 Handbook – Complete the section Choosing a
Course before you come to enrol.
What Evening Classes are there?
In 2008
our evening program may include courses in German, Japanese, Indonesian,
Italian, English as a Second Language, Chinese. You may enrol
in late November or in early February. Check The Mercury for
details of times, venues and costs.

How much will it cost?
A
general levy helps to pay for classroom consumables, internet, excursions,
sport, magazines, diaries. student
union funds and some library expenses. The cost of levies was $295 in 2007
for full-time students and $195 for part-time students, but this may change
slightly in 2008. In some materials intensive subjects, the levy pays for
basic materials needed by all students. Materials required for extended
projects are an additional cost. An invoice will be sent out during
February. Please get in touch with the College Business Manager
through the General Office in A Block, if you would like to make
arrangements to pay by instalments.
What about books and stationery?
Textbooks and stationery
will be sold at the Royal Hobart Showground, Grandstand Hall from 7th
January 2008 to 8th February at the following times:
10am to 4pm Monday to Friday
10am to 2pm Saturday
Student Assistance Scheme
sales dependant on Department of Education approvals.
Late night sales on 24th,
31st January and the 7th February 2008:
6pm to 9pm
After these dates,
textbooks and stationery will be available at Birchalls,
147 Bathurst Street,
Hobart.
Year 13 enrolment is possible for some
If a
student wishes to undertake studies after Year 12 then he/she will need to
make special written application at the time of enrolment.
Each case will be
considered on its merits and in the light of College resources.
