Studies of Society and Environment

Why should you study SOSE subjects?  What benefits do you get?

SOSE is the only subject area that looks at the impact of people on their human and natural environment; at a local, national and global level.  It helps you to understand the links between people, culture and environment, now and in the past.  The study of SOSE subjects benefits you personally and broadens your outlook.  Learning is applied and uses excursions, DVDs, authentic sources and data, and the internet.   It provides you with knowledge and skills useful in jobs and careers.
