SPORT STUDIES

This course focuses on sports participation as a participant, administrator, coach or umpire.
You will participate in:
Fitness programs
Tennis
Basketball
Badminton
Volleyball
Indoor Soccer
Handball
Indoor Hockey
Visits to Community Recreation facilities
and many other sporting activities.
 
SPORT FOR GIRLS
This course focuses on the development of knowledge, skills and fitness through active participation in recreation and sporting activities.
You may participate in:
archery
orienteering
tennis
golf
aquatic activities
badminton
volleyball
soccer
Challenge and teamwork activities
and many other recreation/sport activities.

 


SPORT SCIENCE
This course is designed for students who wish to understand the various physical and psychological factors that affect sporting performance.
You will study:
 

Physiology of Exercise
Motor Behaviour
Sport Psychology
Investigative Research


HEALTH STUDIES
This course is designed for students who wish to develop skills, knowledge and ability in health related issues.
You will study:
Individual and Community Health
Current Health Issues
Personal Health Issues
International Health Issues
