Catering 1-4C

If you are interested in the Hospitality industry, or would like to learn how to organise food for yourself and others.

Catering Management

you will have the opportunity to manage a range of function the college, but you will have needed to studied Catering in year 11.

 

Food Studies 4-5C

Food Studies 4-5C

This is an extension subject in the area of food and health with both a practical and theory component.

This course is part of a national training program in the Hospitality Industry, covering work in the kitchen, the food and beverage service, porting, front office/reception and housekeeping.

Food & Textile "A" Courses

You can select from a combination of practical Short Courses to make a year long subject:

Bread, Yeast & Pastry
Cakes & Confectionary
Enterprise cooking - Learn to plan, prepare and package food to sell.
Food & Beverage Service - Gain skills necessary for working in the Hospitality Industry.
"The Next Step" (a practical approach)  - Will give you skills to cope with the world when leave College.
Textiles for Individual Needs - choose from a range of textile projects.
Costume Design & Production
Textile Enterprise - learn to make products to sell.
