Vocational Education and Training Programs (VET)
There is no such thing as unskilled work today. Give yourself that
added advantage when seeking a job or traineeship. You can now gain
workplace skills while at College.
General work skills gained in a VET program will
suit many work places. Skills like:

VET is:

with on-the-job training for work . |

a combination of TCE subjects as well as
entry level training qualifications for particular industries. |

Tasmania or other private training organisations or an apprenticeship or
traineeship. |

employers and industry Australia wide. |

jointly managed by experienced
co-ordinators (teachers) and employers in the relevant industries. |

locally and nationally. |
By studying a VET program

program entry under the Vocational Education & Training section of this
Handbook. |

Complete the attached Expression of Interest form and
return it to Hobart College by the end of Term 2. Additional
information will be sent to you on receipt of this form. |
